A 31-week live online programme designed for mid-career professionals in banking, insurance, fintech, and financial services who want to move beyond operating financial systems to designing, pricing, and governing them. The inaugural cohort begins September 30, 2026.

The programme is built for three distinct professional profiles: BFSI managers in banking, NBFCs, insurance, or broking who want the authority to lead the digital-first side of their organisation; product, engineering, or strategy professionals already inside a fintech who want the management framework and credential to lead; and early-career professionals or founder aspirants planning to build in fintech or embedded finance. No technical background is required for any of these tracks.

Across seven modules, the curriculum covers the Indian FinTech Operating System and DPI Fundamentals, Frictionless Credit and Compliant Lending, Digital Assets and Settlement, WealthTech and InsurTech, Risk and RegTech, Unit Economics and Analytics, and FinTech Product Management. AI is integrated throughout rather than treated as a standalone topic, with modules addressing AI-led credit scoring, AI in RegTech, and data analytics for fintech product decisions. Learners also work with India Stack layers, the Account Aggregator framework, UPI architecture, BNPL models, and RBI regulatory frameworks. The programme concludes with a capstone where participants model their own fintech product's unit economics, compliance architecture, and go-to-market case.

All sessions are delivered 100% live online through Sunday morning classes across 90+ live hours, taught by Programme Director Abhijeet Chandra and VGSoM faculty. No week-day disruption is involved. The programme is open to any graduate from a recognised university, at a fee of Rs 1,90,000 inclusive of taxes, with EMI starting at Rs 6,500 per month. On completion, participants receive a Professional Certificate from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, IIT Kharagpur, along with IIT KGP Executive Alumni Status. The programme concludes with an on-campus graduation ceremony at IIT Kharagpur; the certificate will be couriered for those unable to attend.
