HONG KONG / NEW YORK — September 18, 2026 — SATMED Health, a global leader in advanced contrast media delivery systems and radiology consumables, today announced the launch of the SATJECT PET-CT Injector, a purpose-built, AI-enabled platform engineered specifically for positron emission tomography–computed tomography (PET-CT) imaging.

Unlike conventional contrast injectors, the SATJECT PET-CT is designed from the ground up to safely handle and deliver radioactive tracers. The system integrates sealed radiotracer reservoirs, real-time activity monitoring, and intelligent dosing algorithms that automatically calculate patient-specific volumes based on body weight, target organ, and desired activity levels (MBq/GBq). This precision approach minimizes excess radiotracer preparation while ensuring optimal image quality.

Key innovations include:
1. Closed-system radiotracer management that eliminates open handling of radioactive materials, significantly lowering occupational radiation exposure for technologists and nuclear medicine staff.
2. AI-driven auto-protocoling and adaptive dosing that analyzes prior imaging data, patient parameters, and real-time physiological inputs to optimize injection timing, flow rate, and volume — reducing the need for repeat scans.
3. Advanced waste-reduction architecture that meters only the required activity and incorporates automated residual-volume recovery, cutting radiotracer waste by up to 70 % compared with traditional manual or syringe-based methods.
4. Integrated safety and connectivity suite featuring continuous activity tracking, air-detection sensors, encrypted wireless integration with PET-CT scanners, PACS, RIS and HIS, plus remote predictive maintenance.

The SATJECT PET-CT Injector is currently under development and will be available for clinical evaluation and pilot programs in select markets. Full commercial availability and regulatory clearances are targeted for subsequent phases.
