Greensafe International is proud to announce the launch of its Safety Orientation Course (Tunnelling) for Workers (SOC(T)), a Ministry of Manpower (MOM)-approved training program designed to bolster safety standards in Singapore's tunnelling industry.
This comprehensive 4-hour course equips workers with essential knowledge to identify and mitigate common hazards encountered in tunnelling environments. Participants will gain proficiency in operating tunnelling equipment, working within confined spaces, performing hot work, and adhering to safety protocols in compressed air settings. The curriculum also emphasizes the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the importance of accident prevention.
To enroll, candidates must have completed and passed the Construction Safety Orientation Course for Workers (CSOC). The course is conducted in English, with a maximum class size of 40 to ensure effective learning. A 20-question multiple-choice assessment is administered at the end, requiring a minimum score of 60% to pass.
The course fee is S$40.74, inclusive of GST. Eligible Singaporean workers may utilize SkillsFuture Credit and Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP) funding to offset costs. Post-completion, participants will receive a certificate of achievement endorsed by Greensafe International.
Greensafe International is committed to fostering a culture of safety and compliance within Singapore's construction sector. This initiative underscores the company's dedication to providing quality training that meets regulatory standards and enhances workplace safety.
