Greensafe International is proud to announce the launch of its WSQ-accredited Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Process Plant (AWSHPP) course, previously known as the Oil and Petrochemical Safety Orientation Course (OPSOC). This comprehensive 9-hour training program is designed to provide workers in the oil and petrochemical industries with the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
The AWSHPP course covers critical areas such as:
Understanding roles and responsibilities under the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
Identifying and preventing fire and explosion hazards
Implementing safe work practices for material handling
Ensuring safety during mechanical and electrical operations
Managing specialized operations, working at heights, and confined spaces
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and a Safety Pass, certifying their competency in workplace safety within the process plant environment.
This course is mandatory for all personnel working in process plants, particularly in high-risk areas like Jurong Island. It is open to workers, foremen, supervisors, technicians, engineers, and managers involved in the process industry.
Greensafe International offers the AWSHPP course in multiple languages, including English, Bengali, and Mandarin, to accommodate a diverse workforce. Training sessions are conducted at convenient locations in Woodlands and Joo Koon.
