This release brings major improvements to Network Discovery, making it more flexible, secure, and user-friendly.

Pre-release – Version 1.0.2 RC1
This release brings major improvements to Network Discovery, making it more flexible, secure, and user-friendly. You can now manage multiple admin accounts, switch between languages like English and Arabic (with full RTL support), System Settings and securely scan devices using SSH Authentication keys. We’ve also upgraded system libraries and made several UI and validation fixes to enhance your overall experience

Enhancements
Multiple Admin Accounts: You can now create and manage multiple admin users. Each admin has their own login and can update their profile or change their password independently.

Multilingual Support with RTL Compatibility: Added support for English and Arabic language translations across the system, including non-authenticated pages such as login and forgot password, including the probe page. A language switcher has been introduced at the top of all pages, allowing users to select their preferred language easily. This enhancement also ensures compatibility with RTL (Right-to-Left) languages like Arabic.

SSH Key Based Authentication Support: Network Discovery now supports SSH key-based authentication, allowing secure, passwordless access to target systems. Users can choose between password and key-based authentication. Proper key setup and permissions are required for successful connections.

Annual Library and Theme Update: Upgraded core libraries and frameworks to their latest stable versions for improved performance, security, and compatibility. This includes updates to Laravel, Vue.js, and the upgraded Admin LTE theme with the latest stable versions of Bootstrap, jQuery, and other related libraries.

Secure HTTP Cookie Handling: Improved cookie handling by enforcing security attributes such as HTTP and Secure flags to protect against unauthorized access and keep user data safe during browsing.

Monitoring with Laravel Pulse: We’ve added a new Monitoring option in Network Discovery that takes you to Laravel Pulse. It gives you a clear view of system activity in real time — showing slow requests, background jobs, cache usage, database queries, and user activity. This helps you quickly spot and fix performance issues to keep things running smoothly.

System Settings Configuration: Admins can now easily configure default date format, time format, time zone, and system language for consistent display across the helpdesk. This ensures accurate regional settings for all users.

Bug Fix Summaries
Device Name Display: Resolved an issue where the device name was showing the IP address instead of the actual hostname after a scan.

Validation Issues Across Application: Reviewed and corrected validation checks across the application to ensure both client-side and server-side validations are functioning properly.

UI/UX Improvements: Standardized the delete confirmation modal across all modules, including IP Range. Removed the red colour from delete buttons for a consistent look. Additionally, added a missing alert message for the Email Configuration page.

Custom SSH Port Support: SSH credential option in Network Discovery allows users to specify a custom port. Enter the custom SSH port number (default is 22, but you can change it to match your server configuration. This ensures successful scanning of devices using non-standard SSH ports.
