TARKIO, Missouri — Chef Paul Seaman, founder of The Culinary Alchemist and a recognized Ayurvedic chef, Certified Western Herbologist, and food-as-medicine speaker, recently appeared in a new ETTV episode titled Cooking with Intent, where he demonstrated the preparation of traditional empanadas and Mexican pot de crème while educating viewers on the relationship between culinary technique, digestion, and intentional nourishment.
The appearance continues Chef Paul’s mission of reconnecting food with awareness, tradition, and vitality through practical culinary education.

During the episode, Chef Paul guided viewers through professional pastry techniques, dough preparation, spice balancing, and dessert finishing while integrating Ayurvedic principles related to digestion, energetics, and food preparation.

“Something like chili powder actually helps us metabolize the things that we’re eating because it increases the digestive fire,” Chef Paul explained during the segment, referencing the Ayurvedic concept of Agni, or digestive fire.
The ETTV episode highlighted Chef Paul’s signature approach to culinary education, blending global cuisine, wellness insight, and classical technique into accessible learning experiences.

Throughout the demonstration, viewers were introduced to:
- Traditional empanada dough preparation using professional pastry techniques
- Texture and structural principles in dough rolling and shaping
- Mexican chocolate preparation and dessert finishing methods
- Ayurvedic perspectives on spices such as cinnamon and chili
- The relationship between food, digestion, circulation, and vitality

Chef Paul’s appearance reflects the growing interest in food-as-medicine education and integrative culinary systems that combine traditional food wisdom with modern wellness awareness.

As founder of The Culinary Alchemist, Chef Paul works with individuals, organizations, retreat centers, and hospitality groups to develop culinary education programs, wellness menus, and speaking engagements rooted in Ayurveda, Western Herbology, and intentional nourishment.

The ETTV series, short for Eat This TV, explores global cuisines through the lens of culinary mastery, ancestral food systems, and holistic wellness. Upcoming episodes will continue featuring educational demonstrations, ingredient insights, and culturally rooted cooking techniques.
“This work is about helping people understand that food is not simply fuel,” said Chef Paul. “When ingredients are respected, and technique is intentional, cooking becomes a tool for nourishment, connection, and long-term wellbeing.”

The appearance also supports the continued expansion of The Culinary Alchemist’s media and educational initiatives, including podcast interviews, culinary workshops, wellness retreats, and future ETTV programming.
