Shipments carrying hazardous materials call for a different level of certification. The company's UN Certified FIBC line is built to ADR/RID/IMDG-Code requirements, which govern the transport of dangerous goods by road, rail, and sea.
Bags intended for food products are made to meet BRC-S&D, ISO 22000, and related European regulations on materials that contact food, and static-protective bags are tested against IEC 61340 for electrostatic performance.

None of this happens without testing. Wales Industries runs its own in-house laboratory work, covering yarn and fabric tensile and elongation tests, UV resistance, coating performance, sifting, cyclic top lift and load-to-failure trials, tear and drop tests, stacking and topple tests, and grounding checks on conductive bags.
