At Presidency College on 8th February 2026 The Agilisium Marathon 2026 – Madras Marathon was successfully conducted dedicating it to cancer awareness and community well-being. The event was organized by the Kavasa Foundation, set a strong reminder that sport can inspire hope, resilience and collective action toward a healthier future. The event was held under the theme “Run for a Cause, Fight Against Cancer” the event had a huge participation from children, youth and adults that every step count for a cancer-free tomorrow. The early morning air was filled with energy, purpose and solidarity as participants gathered to run not just for fitness, but for awareness and compassion.

The participant registrations were handled by iFinish, the official Registration Partner, for a smooth and user-friendly experience for runners across all categories. Participants reported at the venue by 05:00 AM, with all race categories flagged off at 05:30 AM. The disciplined and punctual start reflected the high standards of organization and set the tone for an energetic and well-managed event. The campus of Presidency College provided an ideal backdrop for a safe and engaging running experience.

The Agilisium Marathon 2026 featured various running categories for different age groups and fitness levels:
● 3 KM Fun Run (Ages 8–18) – with trophies awarded to winners
● 5 KM Timed Run (18+)
● 10 KM Timed Run (18+)

The prize money worth 1 lakh, for the competitive categories with performances as the fun run encouraged younger participants to start fitness and social responsibility at an early age. The event was graced by the ambassadors as Vignesh Hariharan, named as the Official Ambassador for the Madras Marathon 2026, has inspired many participants at the event. The Agilisium Marathon 2026 was supported by Agilisium Consulting Pvt. Ltd. as the Title Sponsor, Decathlon as the Official Sports Partner, and Casagrand as the Co-Sponsor, with Kanon Eventz serving as the Event Partner. With all the support from sponsors and partners event was a big
success.

As the event was a tribute to courage and honouring cancer warriors, supporting survivors and spreading awareness about healthy lifestyles. Participants had run with a purpose and have contributed their large message of hope and community strength.

The event left Chennai inspired reminding everyone that when a community runs together for a cause, real change begins one step at a time.
