Carefully preserved and displayed in high-resolution 3D, these pieces offer a rare look into the evolving style of a young Lady Diana Spencer, just before she stepped into the global spotlight.

Among the highlighted items is a classic Burberry plaid shirt from the late 1970s to early 1980s, hand-labeled “D. Spencer.” This shirt, one of 27 clothing items Diana personally donated to a children’s charity shop in Kensington in May 1981—just weeks before her royal wedding—is preserved along with the original shop receipt, adding a remarkable layer of authenticity and personal connection.

Also featured in the digital exhibit is a green Loden wool Burberry coat, which Diana was frequently photographed wearing at the age of 19 during her early courtship with Prince Charles. This was a time when Diana had no royal clothing allowance, and her wardrobe reflected both practical fashion sensibilities and timeless British style.
