🎉 A Delightful Hog Roast in Thornton-le-Dale







We had the pleasure of catering a delightful joint birthday celebration in the picturesque village of Thornton-le-Dale. Mark, a dedicated Leeds United fan, organised a party for his wife and daughter, bringing together around 50 friends and family members in their beautiful garden.

Thornton-le-Dale, nestled on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, is renowned for its timeless charm and scenic beauty. The village’s history dates back to the Neolithic period, with archaeological finds such as a cart burial at nearby Pexton, dating around 300 BC.

The village is adorned with thatched cottages, a meandering beck, and a 13th-century market cross, all contributing to its reputation as one of Yorkshire’s prettiest villages

The celebration took place in Mark’s spacious garden, where guests enjoyed the warm weather and the serene surroundings. The garden was tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming environment for friends and family to gather and celebrate. The combination of the village’s historic charm and the festive atmosphere made for an unforgettable event.

🍽️ The Feast
Our team was delighted to serve a succulent hog roast, which quickly became the centerpiece of the event. The aroma of the slow-cooked hog roast wafted through the garden, enticing guests to gather around and savour the delicious offerings. Accompanied by a variety of fresh salads and sides, the meal received excellent comments from everyone in attendance.
