Yunnan, China’s leading floriculture province, achieved a major export milestone in 2025, with flower exports reaching RMB 1.22 billion (USD 170 million), up 60.5% year on year and ranking first nationwide for the seventh consecutive year. The province’s flowers are now exported to 64 countries and regions, supported by extensive cultivation capacity and efficient logistics that preserve freshness for international markets. Building on this momentum, the IFEX Kunming International Flowers & Plants Expo 2026 will take place from September 18–20 in Kunming, bringing together more than 600 exhibitors and an estimated 45,000 trade buyers. Featuring dedicated programs for international sourcing and export development, the event will showcase flowers, coffee, tropical plants and berries while fostering global partnerships, technology exchange and new business opportunities across the floriculture industry.
