PISCATAWAY, NJ — PALS Learning Center – Piscataway has opened registration for its Fall 2026 Academy & Magnet School Prep Program for students entering Grade 8 during the 2026–2027 school year.
Classes begin September 13, 2026, and registration is open through August 30, 2026. Enrollment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The program is designed for students preparing for competitive Academy and Magnet School opportunities, including programs focused on engineering, STEM, medicine, and allied health.

Preparing for these opportunities often requires more than practicing for an entrance exam. Students benefit from strengthening important academic and test-taking skills, including:

• Mathematical reasoning and problem-solving
• Reading comprehension
• Writing and written communication
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Time management and test-taking strategies
• Practice with challenging and unfamiliar questions

PALS Learning Center – Piscataway has been serving local students and families since 2009. Located at 1629 Stelton Road in Piscataway, the center serves families from Piscataway, Edison, and nearby Middlesex County communities.
Over the years, students participating in the Academy & Magnet School Prep Program have earned placements in a variety of competitive Academy and Magnet School programs, including pathways in engineering, STEM, allied health, biomedical sciences, business, computer science, and other specialized areas.

The Fall 2026 program will support students exploring opportunities that may include Woodbridge Academy, Edison Academy, Union County Magnet School programs, and other applicable Academy and Magnet School pathways.
