LAS VEGAS, USA — May 30, 2026 — XTEN-AV will debut real-time profit and margin analytics for AV proposals at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas. The cost-analysis tool shows an integrator the margin on a proposal as it is built, rather than after the job invoices.

The panel reports total price, equipment price, labor price, and profit margin at a glance, alongside an itemized shipment breakdown of amount, discount, tax, and final price. A pricing table places equipment and labor side by side cost price, sell price, gross margin, profit, discount, tax, and final price and a toggle switches between margin pricing and markup pricing to show the financial impact of each approach in real time. A cost-to-client versus cost-to-company view shows both perspectives in one panel.

Margin erosion is a persistent concern for AV firms working bids on gut feel rather than live data. By surfacing the numbers at the proposal stage, the tool lets a sales leader see how a discount changes profit before the proposal is sent, not after delivery.

Industry context Margin pressure is a defined industry concern: AVIXA revised its five-year pro AV growth forecast down from 5.3% to 3.9% annually in its 2025 IOTA, citing tariffs, interest rates, and geopolitical uncertainty — conditions that make proposal-stage margin visibility more valuable to integrators.
