SINGAPORE, August 2025 — Greensafe International has launched the WSQ Supervise Safe Lifting Operations course, a specialized training program tailored for lifting supervisors responsible for crane-related activities. This course strengthens workplace safety standards by equipping participants with practical knowledge of risk control, supervision, and regulatory compliance.
Comprehensive Training Approach
The program provides in-depth coverage of planning, executing, and supervising lifting operations. Learners will gain skills in hazard identification, coordination of riggers and signalmen, effective communication, and ensuring adherence to safety frameworks.
Course Duration and Assessment
Delivered through a structured 35-hour format, the course includes 32 hours of training and 3 hours of assessment. Participants will undergo both written and practical evaluations to demonstrate their ability to supervise safe lifting operations effectively.
Eligibility Criteria
This course is designed for individuals appointed as lifting supervisors. Learners must be at least 21 years old, medically fit, proficient in English, and have prior experience in crane-related activities. Completion of rigger and signalman training is also a prerequisite.
Certification and Recognition
Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment under the WSQ framework. This certification meets the mandatory requirements under the Workplace Safety and Health (Operations of Cranes) Regulations.
