SILHOUETTE ISLAND, SEYCHELLES – 2026 – Niva Labriz Seychelles recently welcomed a hosted media visit organised by Tourism Seychelles, offering an opportunity to experience the resort’s distinctive approach to island hospitality, from immersive nature experiences and wellness to Creole-inspired gastronomy and thoughtful personal touches.

Among the highlights of the visit was an unexpected reunion between a visiting tourism professional from Ankara and Marc O Schumacher, General Manager of Niva Labriz Seychelles. Schumacher is known to many professionals in Ankara’s tourism and hospitality industry from his previous role as General Manager of Hilton Ankara.

The reunion on Silhouette Island offered a memorable reminder of the connections that exist across the international hospitality industry and provided an opportunity to discover Schumacher’s current role at Niva Labriz Seychelles.

The experience extended to the villa, where fresh hibiscus flowers had been arranged around the bathtub, adding another personal touch to the stay.
