Muscat, Oman – Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Cristian Nannucci as General Manager of Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel & Residences, which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026.

With more than 30 years of international hospitality experience across Asia, Europe and the Middle East, Nannucci will oversee the hotel's pre-opening activities and lead the launch of Tivoli's first property in Oman.

Throughout his career, Nannucci has held senior leadership positions with leading international hotel brands, including Shangri-La. His experience includes overseeing the opening of PARKROYAL COLLECTION and Pan Pacific Serviced Suites in Kuala Lumpur, along with leadership roles in Malaysia and the Philippines. His expertise spans luxury resort management, multi-property operations, hotel openings and brand development.

Located within the LA VIE development in Muscat, Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel & Residences will feature 79 hotel rooms and 100 branded residences. The property is positioned near the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre and an 18-hole championship golf course managed by Troon Golf.

David Todd, Vice President of Operations for Minor Hotels Middle East & Africa, said Nannucci's appointment marks an important milestone as the company prepares to introduce the Tivoli brand to Oman.

Nasser Al Shibli, CEO of ORIS, the property's owning company, also welcomed the appointment, highlighting its importance in delivering world-class hospitality experiences in the Sultanate.

The opening of Tivoli La Vie Muscat forms part of Tivoli Hotels & Resorts' continued expansion across the Middle East, following its presence in Qatar and ahead of its planned debut in Bahrain.
