Wet Silver Boudoir, the five-star rated luxury boudoir studio at 6702 S Staples Street, is expanding what it offers women in the Coastal Bend with a new year-long membership program, a growing calendar of themed group events, and a free monthly community series open to every woman in the area.

Founded and run by photographer Lori Stead, Wet Silver Boudoir is built on a single idea: most women have never seen themselves the way the people who love them do. Stead has spent nearly two decades behind the camera and personally handles every part of the experience, including professional hair and makeup, direction and posing, photography, and retouching. Clients work with one person from the first phone call to the final image.

"A woman walks in apologizing for her body before she has even set her purse down," Stead said. "Three hours later she is looking at her own photograph and going quiet, because for the first time she is seeing what everyone else already sees. Confidence comes from within. But sometimes a woman needs the proof in front of her before she will believe it."

That approach has earned the studio consistent five-star reviews from clients across South Texas, many of whom describe the session as the first time in years they felt genuinely comfortable in front of a camera.

New: The Inner Circle
Wet Silver Boudoir has launched The Inner Circle, a membership program for women who do not want a once-in-a-lifetime session but an ongoing relationship with their own image. Members receive six sessions per year with five fully retouched images from each, for twelve monthly payments of $150. The program is designed for women who want to document who they are becoming rather than freeze a single moment.

Group Experiences and Events
The studio's SEEN group boudoir experience filled to capacity and is currently running on a waitlist. On October 15, Wet Silver Boudoir will host Baddies with Tatties, an evening celebrating tattooed women, in collaboration with tattoo artist Elle of Inked by Elle. The event runs from 5:30 to 9:00 PM, is limited to eight women, and uses time-based pricing starting at $200.

Recent studio events have included Bare-Faced and Beautiful, a skincare evening that sold out within hours, and Perimenopause, Unfiltered, an open conversation about a stage of life many women navigate without support.

Free Community Series: Bloom Where You Are Planted
Alongside its client work, Wet Silver Boudoir hosts a free monthly event series for women called Bloom Where You Are Planted. The events are open to the public, cost nothing, and carry no sales pitch. Past gatherings have included a Rose Soiree and a plant propagation night. The next event, Plants and Pages, takes place August 4 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the studio.

"Women here are busy, tired, and lonelier than most of them will admit," Stead said. "They need somewhere to land that does not cost anything and does not ask anything of them. If a woman never books a session with me and only ever comes to a free event and walks out feeling less alone, that is a good night."
