L. Ray Vinson was born in 1942 in Columbus, Georgia. After getting his bachelor's degree in accounting, he made a successful career in the construction industry. He has written many short stories previously and also authored a novel, The Perfect Warrior. Vinson lives a happy life and is married with a large family, including five children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
