Structural calculations are a series of calculations that are required for council submission as well as your building contractors. These calculations specify what will allow the structure to be at its safest level for example: calculations for removal of load bearing walls are needed to be calculated to find out what beam will be taking the load after the removal of the load bearing wall. These beams specifications are later used by the contractors whilst they carry out their building work.
