Purcell Heating & Air launches annual HVAC membership plans for Alberta homeowners — including priority scheduling, discounted parts, and waived service call fees

New membership program provides priority scheduling, annual maintenance visits, discounted parts, and waived service call fees for enrolled homeowners across Calgary and the Columbia Valley

Purcell Heating & Air today announced the launch of structured annual membership plans for residential HVAC customers in Alberta and British Columbia, providing enrolled homeowners with a predictable, cost-effective approach to year-round heating and cooling system maintenance.

The Alberta Membership Plan and BC Membership Plan each include annual professional AC maintenance and furnace maintenance visits, priority scheduling during peak summer and winter demand periods, discounted parts pricing on all repairs completed during the membership year, and waived service call fees for all covered service visits.

"The most valuable benefit in the plan for most of our customers is not the maintenance visit itself — it is the priority scheduling," said a spokesperson for Purcell Heating & Air. "When a Calgary heat wave hits in July and every HVAC company in the city is responding to AC failures simultaneously, our membership plan holders are scheduled ahead of the non-member queue. That means the difference between a same-day repair and a three-day wait without air conditioning during 32-degree heat."

Annual maintenance visits included in the plans cover the full 21-point AC tune-up — refrigerant pressure testing, condenser coil cleaning, capacitor and contactor testing, condensate drain clearing, and airflow verification — along with a comprehensive furnace inspection covering heat exchanger inspection, burner and ignition testing, gas pressure verification, and blower motor assessment.

The membership program is available to homeowners across all Purcell service areas in Alberta — including Calgary, Airdrie, Okotoks, Cochrane, Chestermere, Strathmore, Langdon, De Winton, High River, Canmore, Didsbury, and Bragg Creek — and across the Columbia Valley in BC, including Cranbrook, Invermere, Fernie, Golden, and Windermere.

Research consistently shows that professionally maintained HVAC systems last three to five years longer than unmaintained equivalents, with lower emergency repair frequency and measurably lower electricity consumption throughout their operating life. The annual membership provides the most cost-effective path to consistent maintenance for homeowners committed to protecting their heating and cooling investment.
